He has over 26 years of experience at Lilly in various HSE roles with increasing responsibilities over the years. He has international experience and his responsibilities have included safety engineering, industrial hygiene, environmental management, project management, writing corporate standards and management systems, and auditing. Shawn received his B.S. degree in Environmental Health Science from Indiana State University. He has completed advanced HSE studies at the University of Southern California and the University of Cincinnati.

Sally Van Cleve graduated from Queens University of Charlotte in 2017 with majors in Spanish and International Business. Upon graduation, Sally moved to Viña del Mar, Chile where she taught English and later worked for a software startup company as an Account Manager for the Americas. After 3 years at this company, Sally decided to move back to the United States to pursue a graduate degree in Social and Sustainable Enterprises (ESG) from Florida State University and is expected to graduate from the program in December 2022. She is also an Associate Consultant at the McNees Group, researching the current ESG reporting landscape and supporting companies in the implementation of strategic ESG initiatives.
Bardia Bina is the Chief Executive Officer of Interaptix Augmented Reality, a technology company founded in 2013 with a mission to build digital tools that improve safety and productivity in the industrial enterprise. Interaptix’s flagship software platform, AptixAR, is a cloud based SaaS application for remote expertise. Leveraging Augmented Reality and Digital Twins, AptixAR enables spatial knowledge capture and sharing to support hybrid EHS audits, as well as remote inspection, maintenance, and training. Bardia holds a Master of Applied Science in Aerospace Engineering and a PhD in Industrial Engineering with a specialization in augmented reality and teleoperation.
As the Head of Quality, Mike is responsible for leading the implementation and execution of quality strategies and programs within product design, process quality, and rapid responsiveness to issues. Jeremy Rowlette is the EHS Management Systems Director for GE Appliances, a Haier Company, based in Louisville, KY. His role includes leading the development and continuous improvement of GEA’s Environmental and Health & Safety Managements systems, driving standardization and simplification. He also leads GEA’s digital efforts, including their Benchmark ESG platform, and supports GEA’s international locations.

He is setting the strategic vision and helping lead the execution of safety, health, and security goals for the company. Flowers Foods is a 100-year-old company based in Thomasville, GA with over $4 billion in annual sales of key brands such as Nature’s Own and Dave’s Killer Bread. The company has 885 total locations across the US and a combined workforce of 18,000 employees and associates.

Chris McKee has been working as an EHS professionally in the Renewable Energy industry for over 11 years. He began his career with Diamond WTG Engineering & Services, A Group Company of Mitsubishi Heavy Industries that provides a wide range of services to wind farms across the US. From there he joined FieldCore, A GE Company in their Renewables segment where he has spent the last six years working as a Regional EHS Manager for their Americas region. He has spent his career at FieldCore providing EHS support for the over 750 Renewables Technicians that install, commission, maintain and upgrade thousands of renewables assets in the Americas; and partnering with the operations team to achieve over 1.7 million man hours without an OSHA Recordable Injury.
Chris is a graduate from the University of Texas at Austin where he double majored in Environmental Resource Management and Latin American studies, with a minor in Economics. He also holds a Certified Safety Professional (CSP) certification from the Board of Certified Safety Professionals (BCSP).
Alice, a licensed engineer registered in the state of Florida has been a Sr. Consultant with Huco Consulting for 6 years. Prior to joining Huco she worked in Environmental Compliance in the bulk terminal and oil and gas Industry. During her time in industry, facilities that Alice worked at were subject to numerous internal audits and assessments. She also participated on internal audit teams conducting 3rd party audits and assessments at other facility locations throughout the country. Dan Valleau has worked as an Environmental Engineer for Wakefern Food Corp. for the last 4 years. In this role he provides support for the environmental compliance programs for both the distribution and retail sides of the business. His responsibilities include developing procedures, conducting trainings, managing permit compliance, providing technical support for the environmental management system, and performing site inspections. Dan conducts approximately 85 inspections each year across 7 distribution centers.
Before coming to Wakefern, Dan worked at the NYS Department of Environmental Conservation where his responsibilities were split between facility inspections and permit compliance. Dan holds a B.S. in Bioenvironmental Engineering from Rutgers University (2013).
Herman Baker serves as Global Environment, Health, Safety (EHS) & Sustainability Director for Carestream Health Inc. Primarily responsible for leading EHS programs and policies with various manufacturing operations and Business Operations Centers. He facilitates development of ESG & Sustainability strategies, goals, and objectives that balance production, supply chain RoHS/REACH processes, and stakeholder requirements while minimizing the impact to environment. Provides corporate EHS oversight to manufacturing sites, regions, product development teams, chemical manufacturing, film making, component assembly, warehousing, and R&D.

Andy Karsner is Managing Partner of The Emerson Collective, Senior Strategist and Space Cowboy at Google X; and Founder and Executive Chairman of Manifest Energy.
His entrepreneurial leadership has been associated with both venture capital and private equity portfolios responsible for guidance and/or holdings in some of the most successful technology startups over the last ten years, including Nest (Internet of things), Tesla (mobility), Recurrent (solar), and Codexis (biotech). From 2005 to 2008, Karsner served as Assistant Secretary of Energy for Efficiency and Renewable Energy of the United States, managing the approximately $2 billion annual federal applied science, research and development portfolio. Prior to joining NAEM, Carol was the Deputy Director for the United States Environmental Protection Agency’s (EPA) Office of Public Liaison, where she managed the agency’s interaction with external stakeholders. She also was responsible for creating and implementing the EPA’s national Pollution Prevention Awards.
Carol has also worked for the United States Trade Representative in the Executive Office of the President. She began her career in Washington, D.C., in the national defense arena, working on Capitol Hill and in the private industry as a lobbyist.
As Executive Director, she is a member of NAEM’s Board of Directors.

As an Industry Executive for Microsoft’s US Capital Markets, his coverage spans ESG, data providers, payments, private equity, asset managers, brokerages, investment banks, and exchanges. Sarah K. Young is a Senior Staff Environment, Safety and Health (ESH) Engineer with over 19 years of professional ESH experience. For the past five years, Sarah has worked in Lockheed Martin’s Corporate ESH organization where she implements and maintains the enterprise wide ESH Management Information System (ESH MIS) and other applications to support the corporation’s digital transformation. She is proficient in Enablon’s Air Quality, Chemical, Compliance, and Waste applications. Prior to her role at Corporate, Sarah worked at Lockheed Martin Aeronautics Company as an internal auditor and as an Air Quality subject matter expert. She has a B.S. from Texas A&M University.
Adam Seery is the Staff Director of the Product Stewardship Society, the leading association empowering and inspiring a global community of product stewardship professionals. As the key management leader, he is responsible for overseeing the operations, programs, and strategic plan for the Society. Adam has over 20 years of experience in all aspects of association management and is a Certified Association Executive.
Amanda leads Honeywell’s Internal Audit organization globally consisting of IT and Cyber Security, Integrated Supply Chain, Finance and Business Services and Fraud and Forensics Audit as well as managing the Enterprise Risk Management practice.
During her tenure, Amanda has rebuilt the Audit Leadership Team and has positioned the Audit brand as one of the leading talent development organizations in the company. Internal Audit delivers independent and objective internal audit services such as assessments and credibly challenges the company’s governance, risk management, and control functions.
Amanda joined Honeywell as Chief Financial Officer, Integrated Supply Chain, Performance Materials and Technologies (PMT) in October 2017 where she led Integrated Supply Chain Finance globally across three Business Units; Honeywell Process Solutions, Honeywell UOP, and Advanced Materials also serving as the PMT Integrated Supply Chain COO.
Prior to joining Honeywell, Amanda served at General Motors as Chief Financial Officer, Global Crossover Utility Vehicles, the largest global product segment in the company. She oversaw all aspects from Design, Build and Sell for the program and executed the first ever Joint-Venture Product Program with China’s SAIC Motor Corporation Limited cultivating the product program, Buick Envision for the global market. Prior to this role, Amanda led GM’s Global Manufacturing Finance function having 129 sites across 5 continents and 16 countries. Amanda also held leadership roles in Manufacturing Operations, Quality Engineering, and Finance having worked across 5 countries in cross- disciplinary functions during her tenure at General Motors; including starting with the company as a First Line Supervisor in the Oshawa Full Size Truck Assembly operation.
Amanda earned undergraduate degrees in Mathematics and Commerce from the University of Waterloo, and an MBA from New York University, Stern School of Business. She holds a CPA -CMA, and CFA and is a member of the Institute of Internal Auditors.
Randy J. Robichaux serves as Vice President – Environmental, Health and Safety of the Company. Mr. Robichaux joined Denbury in 1997 and has more than 22 years of HSE experience in the energy industry. Prior to being named Vice President, Mr. Robichaux served as Denbury’s Director of HSE and Asset Integrity. During his tenure at Denbury, Mr. Robichaux has worked in both the field and at corporate headquarters while developing and implementing Denbury’s HSE program. Before joining Denbury, Mr. Robichaux worked for the Louisiana Department of Environmental Quality as an Environmental Quality Specialist. Mr. Robichaux holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Nicholls State University and is both a Certified Safety Professional and a Registered Environmental Manager.
Karen Reed is a Systems Integration Business Analyst with 20 years of professional experience in Environment, Safety and Health Management Information System (ESH MIS) services. Karen has 4 years of experience in ESH MIS Enterprise IT serving as a Systems Integration Business Analyst for the planning, design, configuration, and implementation of multiple ESH MIS software modules. She is proficient in Enablon’s Air Quality, Chemical Management, Waste Management, Inspection Management, Job Hazard Analysis, Compliance and Action Plans applications. Prior to joining the Enterprise Information Technology team, Karen had 16 years of experience as a member of the Lockheed Martin RMS Environment Health and Safety team. She has a B.S. from George Mason University.
Caleb Nye is an Environmental Health and Safety Specialist for ScottsMiracle-Gro. He has over 10 years of experience in handling data and technology ranging from data collection and management to website and software design. For the past three years he has maintained and developed the enterprise wide Scotts instance of the ProcessMAP reporting tool. By utilizing the tool, Caleb has helped Scotts convey its data in a meaningful and impactful way to drive data visibility up while driving safety and environmental risks down.
John founded Perillon in 2005 as CEO and established the company as a leader in the EHS Compliance and Risk Management cloud software market. In 2019, he led the acquisition of the company by Lisam Systems, a global EHS software company based in Belgium. Together, Perillon and Lisam provide the most intuitive platform for industrial corporations under pressure to meet new Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) standards. John has over 25 years of enterprise software experience and 10 years of manufacturing industry experience at Kronos (now UKG), Textron, and McDonnell Douglas (now Boeing). John earned his Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering at Lehigh University and has a Masters in Business Administration from Babson College.
With nearly 25 years in the utility industry, Sandy Nessing has responsibility for managing sustainability strategy, corporate stakeholder engagement and annual performance reporting for American Electric Power (AEP). She also chairs AEP’s Enterprise Sustainability Council and ESG team.
She is a versatile, high-performing leader with proven success inspiring, planning, directing, implementing, and managing enterprise sustainability, cultural change, stakeholder engagement and ESG/sustainability disclosure.
Nessing currently serves as President of the Board of Directors for NAEM, a national organization for environment, safety & health and sustainability professionals. In Columbus, Nessing serves as Secretary on the Franklin Park Conservatory Board of Trustees, one of the nation’s premier botanical gardens. She also is Executive Sponsor of the Ohio Chapter of the Women’s International Network of Utility Professionals.
Nessing leads AEP’s participation in the Electric Power Research Institute’s sustainability programs. She also serves on the Edison Electric Institute’s ESG/Sustainability Reporting Committee, which developed a groundbreaking sector-specific ESG/Sustainability Reporting Template for investors. She is also a member of EEI’s Customer Solutions Sustainability Subcommittee, and led AEP’s participation in development of an industry template for providing large customers with GHG emissions and renewable energy data.
Prior to joining AEP in 2006, Nessing led corporate communications for Yankee Energy System and Yankee Gas Services Company, which are now Eversource. She began her career in broadcast journalism and public relations. She is a graduate of the former Briarwood College in Southington, Connecticut.
Mr. Neelappa is leading the Digital vision & transformation within bp’s Remediation Management Group. Leveraging 20+ years of experience in technology, Pramod has ushered in the next generation of technologies such as Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, & Microsoft Power Platform. For last 8 years, he has lead global implementation of EQuIS for Environmental data management in bp. Pramod also serves as Senior Cyber Ambassador driving good cyber security behaviors at bp.
His current goals are to “Connect People with Data” & “Simplify Business Processes”. The outcome of these goals enable the business to make data driven insights & decision making and drive safety through smarter operations. Pramod has Engineering degree in Electronics & Communications from NIT Surat, India.
Michael leads WSP’s commercial Climate Preparedness practice, and is relied upon for strategic advisory by Fortune 100 corporations, utilities, as well as municipal, state and national governments. He is currently facilitating the Climate Adaptation Implementation Committee for the California High Speed Rail Authority.
He also serves as director of the project management office for the company’s Urban Futures Initiative, a program to deliver integrated solutions across transportation, buildings and energy infrastructure for cities, corporate campuses, and communities across the United States. He holds a Master in Public Policy from Georgetown University and has been recognized by the UN’s Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) for his contributions to its receipt of the 2007 Nobel Peace Prize.
Tim Mohin is the chief sustainability officer for Persefoni AI. Formerly, he served as chief executive of the Global Reporting Initiative; he also held sustainability leadership roles with Intel, Apple, and AMD and worked on environmental policy within the U.S. Senate and Environmental Protection Agency. He is the author of Changing Business from the Inside Out: A Treehugger’s Guide to Working in Corporations.
Tim selectively accepts speaking engagements and provides advisory services on Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) disclosure, Corporate Responsibility Management, Government Policy and related matters through his company, ESG Advisor LLC.
He is a globally recognized thought leader in ESG disclosure, author of Changing Business from the Inside Out, and a founder and former Chairman of the Responsible Business Alliance (formerly the Electronic Industry Citizenship Coalition).
Tim has worked within the sustainability and ESG fields on all sides: leading the creation of national environmental policy for both the EPA and US Senate, establishing and implementing leadership sustainability programs for multinational brands, founding and leading a coalition focused on advancing responsible sourcing, and as the chief executive GRI – the world’s leading sustainability disclosure standards organization.

Michael Miller is Senior Vice President of EHS, Sustainability and Risk Management for Advance Auto Parts (AAP). Mike also leads the pandemic response activities for AAP. Mike is responsible for the safety of over 70,000 team members across 50 distribution centers and 5,000 retail stores. Mike is responsible for strategy and deployment of environmental compliance and sustainability programs across the company. Mike is also responsible for the risk management and insurance programs including strategies to reduce the total cost of risk.
Mike is a member of the Senior Leadership Team, Supply Chain Leadership Team, ESG Committee, Compliance Committee, and Enterprise Risk Committee.
Mike is a champion of Advance’s inclusion, equity, and diversity agenda and is the National Leadership Chair of Advance Pride & Allies, a team member network fostering visibility, growth, and inclusion of LGBTQ team members and customers. Mike is also an executive coach for the Advance Officer Development (AOD) program.

Prior to AAP, Mike was Vice President of Environmental Health and Safety for Dean Foods Company. Earlier in his career, Mike was in leadership roles at Apex Tool Group, Danaher Corporation, and Textron. Mike started his EHS career in college working at Texas Instruments where he attended his first NAEM Forum in 1998.
Mike is a graduate of Clark University in Worcester, MA with a degree in Environmental Science & Policy. Mike attended Columbia University conducting climate change research at the Biosphere 2 Center in Oracle, Arizona. He also completed post-graduate work at Clark University in Environmental Risk Management and Project Management from Bryant University. Mike is a certified project manager and Six Sigma Green Belt.
Mike and his husband James live in the North Hills area of Raleigh, North Carolina. Mike enjoys spending free time swimming, golfing, skiing and traveling.
Rashmi Mantha is a Professional Geologist with over 16 years of professional experience in Compliance, Remediation, and Environmental Health & Safety Management Information System (EMIS) services. Ms. Mantha has over 11 years of experience in EMIS serving as a Project Manager and Technical Lead for the planning, design, configuration, and implementation of multiple EMIS software solutions. She is proficient in Enablon’s Air Quality, Water Management, Audit, and Inspection Management, Environment Health Safety, Industrial Hygiene, Metrics, Compliance and Action Plans applications.
Her experience and expertise include project planning, requirements gathering and gap analysis. She supports business rules development and key decisions while sharing lessons learned and best practices from previous solution implementations. She has experience in advanced application configuration design and build, custom report templates, and solution delivery. She has a B.S. from Southern Illinois University.
David partners with Veeva’s largest customers in the consumer goods, food & beverage, and specialty chemicals industries to help them develop future ready digital operating models that transform quality management and product compliance into a competitive edge. Before joining Veeva, David worked at Novozymes Global Regulatory Affairs where he was in charge of digitization strategy. He also worked as a management consultant at Deloitte where he specialized in large-scale organization transformations.
Dr. John Hott is Eastman Chemical Companys Director of Global Product Stewardship and Regulatory Affairs, where he has overall responsibility for their product-related compliance and stewardship organization. John has 30 years of experience in the product stewardship arena and has worked at and/or managed teams responsible for those activities at his current employer, Eastman, and at Syngenta, Arch Chemicals and Ashland.
John is a regular speaker at GlobalChem and the Product Stewardship Society Conference (PSX). Also, he currently is the President of the Product Stewardship Society and Chairs the Household and Commercial Products Association’s International Affairs Council. Dr. Hott received his Ph.D. in Chemistry from the Georgia Institute of Technology and his undergraduate degree from Mercer University.

Victoria Emerick has a PhD in Biochemistry and certifications in Project & Change Management as well as Lean & Six Sigma. Over the last 25 years, she’s focused on strategic operations, continuous improvement, & enterprise level project planning & management. In her current role as the Executive Director and Global Head of ESG-Sustainability Strategy and Operations, Victoria is responsible for developing innovative approaches to advance ESG-Sustainability awareness, commitments, efforts, and investments across the global Bristol-Myers Squibb enterprise. She is the Chair-elect of the Sustainability I Council Executive Committee for The Conference Board, a member of the Biopharma Sustainability Roundtable, Sustainability Leadership Forum, IFPMA Working Group for ESG, and the CSR Board and has served as the BMS leader for engagements involving the UN Global Compact, including the Lead 2030 collaboration with One Young World and the UN Young SDG Innovators Program.
Rob Davis has over 20 years of experience in the Enterprise Performance Management and Business Intelligence industries and has held senior leadership positions in product management, engineering, consulting, support, and customer success at Business Objects, SAP, Tableau, and MicroStrategy. Rob is passionate about helping organizations glean value from their data by identifying use cases that help teams and individuals improve their performance. Monica Calabria is a Data Analyst at ddms Inc. with over 20 years of experience working in the environmental industry.
After years of field sampling experience as an environmental scientist, she has spent the last 14 years specializing in the development of client electronic data workflows for environmental sample planning, data collection and data reporting and analytics. Monica has expertise in the selection and configuration of environmental data systems and the integration of field application and analytics.
Ms. Calabria has worked in both the government and private sectors mostly with federal agencies and large chemical and oil and gas industrial clients.
Roger Bottum is Vice President of Strategy at VelocityEHS. Roger has over 25 years of experience in management, product strategy and marketing in cloud and enterprise software. He has spoken at hundreds of public and industry events on risk management and cloud technology. As an early evangelist of GRC, Roger helped launch the Open Compliance andEthics Group. He was also an early proponent of enterprise cloud applications, participating in the first year of salesforce.com’s AppExchange launch. Prior to joining VelocityEHS in 2015, he led global product management for Enablon and served as an associate partner at Accenture. He is on the board of GT Schmidt and holds 2 patents.
